The group The Lucyan Group has been in existence since December 2009. It performs a repertoire combining oriental and jazz motifs (these are the leader’s compositions) and original Indian pieces arranged in a jazz style. The band’s leader Lucyan (Lucjan Wesolowski) describes the music as “orient-jazz.” The album of the same name, released in 2014, also features guest musicians from other countries: Luca Donini (Italy) and Sagit Zilberman (Israel). The band has given numerous concerts in Poland, as well as in Austria.
