Traveling around northern Pakistan is a exceptional travel experience. In this area “the queen of the journey” and the eighth wonder of the world – the Karakorum Highway – is located.

While traveling along Karakorum Highway, even without much fitness preparation, we go through the Karakorum area – from the capital in Islamabad to the Chinese border. The whole trip is a great opportunity for landscape and mountain photography.

Karakorum Highway crosses the Karakorum range, writhing and meandering alongside the Indus’s windings. At its end, at an altitude of 4,693 m above sea level, there is a Khunjerab pass that is a Pakistani control point with China.
